CLIENT: Mariak

PROFILE: Mariak Industries was established in 1986, and after nearly three decades of continued growth, it has become one of the leading fabricators of window coverings in the United States today. Mariak’s staff is comprised of more than 420 talented and dedicated production, sales, and administrative employees. The company has recently expanded its state-of the-art fabricating facility in Rancho Dominguez, California to more than 220,000 square feet. Their window covering products have been utilized in a variety of applications, including commercial, educational, healthcare, hospitality, government, military, and residential.

CHALLENGE: When they first called on us, the company was growing rapidly and executing on their expansion plans. The challenge was that despite their unbelievable growth, they were often bogged down with cumbersome processes that were relying on old technology for their sales and marketing efforts. In order to make their growth plans come to fruition, they needed to deploy modern tactics. This was the challenge.

SOLUTION: We recommended a complete modernization of their sales and marketing processes by leveraging the Internet. A new corporate website, a portal for marketing communications with wholesale customers, and co-branded marketing websites for leading retailers like Bed Bath and Beyond and Budget Blinds. By modernizing these sales and marketing platforms, the company was able to deliver proper and consistent brand messaging while minimizing hours spend on old processes. In 2017, Mariak was acquired by Spring Window Fashions, one of the world's largest window coverings manufacturers in the world with brands like Bali and SunSetter.
